Using the embed code, you can add video to other websites and applications. This powerful sharing feature is extremely useful, but what if you want to restrict the embedding to only certain websites? That’s where Domain Level Privacy can help.
The Ravnur vCMS allows you to whitelist the specific domains or IP addresses where you want your embedded videos to play. If you embed the video on a page in a domain that is not whitelisted, the player will not even load. Instead, viewers will see a message telling them that the domain is not authorized for viewing the video.
The Domain Level Privacy list is maintained in the admin portal of the Ravnur vCMS, and it can be updated by your administrator.
If oversharing is your thing, you can enter * into the whitelist and your videos can be playable in every domain.
