Live meeting channels are permanent URLs that can be dedicated to a single organization, topic, room or anything else where you would want to run your live stream and have users find it easily.

This means that a committee could have a permanent page such as https://city.ravnur.com/live/my-committee and every live event will take place on that page. This allows you to share the link and embed the link without having to worry about other content being mixed in with your channel.

The live meeting channel is not linked to a particular streaming server or encoder. For each meeting, you have the ability to select an alternate streaming server/encoder combination. This flexibility allows you to stream your committeeโ€™s meeting to its channel no matter where it is taking place.

The player on the live meeting channel can display a custom splash image specific to that channel. This is useful for branding and is particularly useful when the channel is embedded on another page and the player is the only way to display what is going to be streamed.
